This Is NOT Your Typical Fat Loss Programme, But I’m Not Your Typical Personal Trainer
This is the most down to earth piece of diet advice you’ll ever get.
It’s not a scare story about how carbs make you fat…
You don’t have to say no to visits to the pub with your friends…
You don’t even have to give up your favourite foods like chocolate, Ben and Jerry's Ice-cream, or even alcoholic drinks.
Just give me 5 minutes and I will tell you about the quickest, easiest, and tastiest way to lose weight, and keep it off forever.
Even if you feel like you have tried everything, I promise you, this article will change the way you look at weight loss, the gym and healthy eating, in a way you never thought possible.
Just quickly though, before we start, there is something you should know about me
I am not a doctor.
I’m certainly not some sort of unqualified Instagram model either, and I can promise you I won’t try and sell you (or anyone) silly supplements, or encourage you to go on a fad diet or crazy ‘juice cleanse’.
Because I’m just Laura.
And I’ve spent years working with clients in the real world, honing in on my skills and learning everything you ever need to know about losing weight safely, keeping it off, and not hating the process.
My methods are not the norm.
But they are 100% the most fun way of losing weight.
So if you can forgive the lack of letters before or after my name, and instead look at the 100s of happy clients I have, the incredible results people like you got, and my passion for helping you lose weight, tone up and feel confident in your clothes, then let’s get started…
The Weight Loss Industry Had Been Lying To You
Yes, that is a bold statement to make.
Especially considering there are so many doctors, nutritionists and weight loss coaches out there making good money from ‘helping’ people lose weight. I’m not calling these professionals out. But then, I’m not here to make money either. So then… what’s my main interest? Giving people like you the unbiased TRUTH about what genuinely works when it comes to losing weight and keeping it off. Before I go though what DOES work, I’ll quickly tell you what doesn't work. Despite how complicated the fitness industry makes it seem, it’s actually pretty simple. Not only can you lose weight and tone up, but you can do it whilst still enjoying your favourite foods, and without spending hours in the gym.
You can lose weight AND keep it off.
Perhaps you’ve tried diets in the past?
You’ve tried cutting out carbs, you’ve gone to weight watchers or slimming world, maybe even tried a ‘detox’ diet.
(Many off my clients did before coming to me- that’s how I know)
And what happened then?
You lost weight…
… and then before you know it, the weight is back!
It could be a matter of 6 months, 6 weeks, maybe even a couple of weeks.
But regardless of the time period, all that weight you lost has come back on, and all that hard work you put in?
But here’s the thing:
It’s Not Your Fault.
I’ve been there myself.
So have all of my clients.
In fact, millions of people in multiple countries have been victims of this rebound epidemic, where they have lost a good amount of weight on a diet, only to put it back on again when finishing the diet.
Often, the amount of weight put on is MORE than the amount lost the first time.
And here’s why…

Your Body HATES Dieting.(And It’s Proven By Science)
Another bold claim.
But here comes the proof:
The American Society for Clinical Nutrition found that over 80% of dieters couldn't maintain the amount of weight they’d lost for a year.
This shocking study means that over 4 out of 5 dieters will regain every single pound after finishing their dieting, and some will gain even more than they lost.
Some people may claim a lack of discipline or dedication, but this simply isn’t the case.
I have worked with enough people and read enough research in my career to know that even some of the most motivated dieters have regained the weight they lost.
It’s nothing to do with willpower. So right now you’re probably wondering -
‘“Ok then Laura, if you’re actually saying that some many people regain all the weight the lose, even the most dedicated, does that mean there’s no point trying? Should I just avoid dieting and accept I’ll always be this weight?
Is this all my genetics?”
Nope, not at all.
What I didn’t mention that dedication and discipline (or a lack of) is really only a tiny piece of the puzzle.
The real culprit?
The diet followed to lose weight in the first place.
So this is where we learn exactly WHY your body hates ‘dieting’.
Most diets revolve around two ideas (and both are wrong) -
Massively reducing total calorie intake.
Cutting out entire food groups.
Take a Low Carb diet for example - you eat fewer calories because you completely remove carbs from your diet.
A Low Fat diet will cause a ridiculous drop in calories by taking out meat, dairy, butter etc. A ‘juice cleanse’ diet can even go as far as removing solid food. Your calories will be incredibly (yes, dangerously) low.
Which prompts us to the main issue…
Too low a calorie intake wreaks havoc on your metabolism.
This rate at which your body burns calories falls, you feel starving, you move around less, and your metabolism grinds to a shuddering halt.
Have you ever noticed that upon starting a diet the initial weight loss is fast, but the longer you continue, the less weight you lose, until you’re no longer losing weight?
That, is one of the main signs of a slow metabolism due to a very low calorie intake.
And perhaps the most major issue with traditional dieting. Yes, you do need to reduce your calorie intake to lose weight. But lower it too much, and you’re setting yourself up for weight gain and long term failure. Another reason these strict diets don’t work is they create major cravings.
Maybe you’re thinking -
“ Yeah, but Laura. Diets are always going to be tough.
I’m supposed to struggle.
You can’t enjoy food AND lose weight.”
Totally wrong. I hate to burst your bubble, but dieting shouldn’t cause sweet cravings.
You can feel full.
You can eat yummy foods.
You can have ‘junk’ and still lose weight.
Hell, you can even have KFC, chocolate, and visits to the pub whilst dropping pounds and toning up.
In fact, you WILL get better results, because the cravings are kept at bay.
It is in fact, these two reasons (the restriction of certain food groups, and super low calories) that make long term weight loss extremely tough.

The Shocking Truth: What Happens When You Eat Just One Bar Of Chocolate
Would you like to know what happens to your body when you eat just one small bar of chocolate?
The havoc that all the sugars, fats, and carbs create?
The end of the world comparable chaos caused by additives and artificial crap?
How your body ‘stores the chocolate as fat’ and leads to weight gain, diabetes and heart disease?
Well, I’m going to tell you EXACTLY what happens when you eat just one, tasty chocolate bar.
Yup, that’s right.
Despite the sugar, fat, carbs and calories, you won’t instantly gain weight, or become a sugar addict.
In fact, not much happens at all, apart from you have a tasty treat.
See, weight gain has nothing to do with specific foods, and EVERYTHING to do with how many calories you consume.
To make this clear for you, I want to introduce you to someone I know very well.
Megan* is a long term friend of mine.
She came to me around a year ago having gained several stone.
Not surprisingly she was somewhat nervous about doing this.
After all, I am a qualified personal trainer, and stereotypes see us shouting at you to work harder and telling you to eat more broccoli.
She was concerned I would make her give up her favourite foods…
That I might stop her having takeaways, alcohol and meals out with friends…
And that I would have her performing some sort of hour long, vomit inducing workout that causes pain and suffering.
What actually happened was totally different.
We took into account her age, height and weight, and worked out she burned around 2100 calories a day.
To lose weight, that means she needs 1600 calories every day.
(By the way, I’m not about to begin some stupid algebraic equation)
These 1600 calories needed to come mostly from healthy food.
Your typical ‘weight loss’ stuff - vegetables, lean meats, wholegrain etc.
Around 1300 calories should come from these foods, which means the rest can come from ‘ naughty’ foods.
Every day, she would eat 300 or so calories worth of biscuits…
… or crisps.
Or our friend - the chocolate bar.
She can even use these calories for alcohol.
One thing we did with Megan, was work out how many calories could come from junk food each week, so that if she wanted to have a night out at the weekend, or a large pizza in the week, she could do so, and still make incredible progress.
Dan, 12 weeks apart.
Warning: These Results Are 100% Typical and Require NO EXTREME Methods
As you can see, by moderating Megan’s* intake of so called ‘junk’ foods and making sure she was consuming the correct amount of calories, she could indulge AND make the weight loss progress she had always dreamed of.
She got a slimmer, more toned physique.
Energy levels increased and she could play with the kids again.
She felt confident in a bikini.
She NEVER had cravings.
And she has a guaranteed formula for weight loss that is flexible enough to allow her to eat the food she loves.
What’s more, as she beat the usual two weight regain suspects (low calories and banning food groups) she not only lost the weight, but has kept it off.

Introducing ‘Fit Happens’. The Bespoke Weight Loss Plan That Has Personal Trainers Nationwide Up In Arms
Here is my confession:
I used to do things the old way.
I ate ‘Paleo’, and kept binging.
I thought I had to ban bread, pasta and milk.
That everything should be organic and unprocessed.
And that having corn fed beef would reverse my weight loss and send me into a fat gain spiral.
I’m not afraid to admit my mistakes, because it’s only upon reflection that we know we were doing something wrong, and how to fix it with a better approach.
Unfortunately though, many of my peers in the fitness industry are still preaching the old rules:
No carbs after 6pm
No sweeteners/diet drinks
The list continues…
I was a supporter of strict weight loss dieting, and believed that with enough dedication I could adhere to this madness.
(But now, you and I both know this is just plain wrong).
You've read about the real reason we regain weight, and why sticking to these types of diet is almost impossible.
But at the time, I figured it was my way or the highway.
But here’s when silly young Laura made a shocking discovery…
Adhering to the plan only 80% of the time, actually lead to the best results.
Making the vast majority of meals ‘clean’, but having the odd chocolate bar, diet coke or biscuit actually lead to better results.
Fat loss was fast, sustainable, and a hell of a lot easier.
But when eating strictly 100% of the time?
Metabolic slowdown, progress slumps, staying the same weight, and the craving monster.
One I realised what was happening, and how being LESS strict, got BETTER weight loss results -
I completely changing how I did things.
No more strict guidelines…
Gone were the days of banning food groups.
Burgers, chips and booze is back on the menu!
And I developed a shockingly simple and easy to follow system that guarantees lasting weight loss.
This System Is Called ‘Fit Happens VIP’
If I were you, this is what I would be thinking right now:
“Ok Laura, so you’ve told me all about your ‘amazing’ system.
Well I want to see exactly what sort of results I can expect”
I was hoping you would ask this.
Most trainers hate putting their money where their mouth is.
They may talk the talk, but rarely do they walk the walk.
They may have one (or possibly two) testimonials that they bring out time after time.
Personally, I hate that.
I want you to have complete and utter confidence that the ‘Fit Happens’ system can and will change your life, so even if you leave here today without doing anything else, you know that-
This system is credible
It works for everyone
You can takeaway what you have learn today and start to use it for yourself
Richard - 4 weeks apart
I’ll stress again that results like this are typical. I didn’t just pick the ‘dedicated’ clients…
Or the genetic elite…
I wanted to demonstrate to you a complete honest selection of the wide range of people I have worked with over the last couple of years.
I’m not going to tell you the results are impressive.
I have a relatively small (but strict and fair) set of criteria that everyone must meet before working with me. You DO NOT need to have a good level of fitness. Nor do you need to be a certain age or weight. And you CERTAINLY DON’T need to be willing to restrict certain food groups, or have a boring and bland diet. What you do need is to have a life outside the gym and be someone who is not only dedicated and disciplined (or willing to be helped with this), but fun too.
I ONLY work with people I’d be happy to have a pint (or diet coke) and a chat with.
I truly believe that for my programme to work, we need to get on.
So how about we arrange a time to have an informal chat on the phone, and see if we’re a good fit for each other?
I know it isn’t easy to have a coach like myself talk about the pains of being overweight, having a stomach you’re not happy with, and a body you try to hide away. But honestly - I have been there.
I used to feel like a stranger in my own skin.
I was ashamed of not having abs like the Instagram models. I felt guilty for not sticking to my ridiculous paleo diet. I used to hate having my photo taken with my family. I would do whatever I could to make sure no one ever saw my physique.
Now I may not be some oiled up bodybuilder, or the kind of girl who parades around town in a crop top, but I am completely, 100% comfortable in my body.
It hasn’t been an easy rode, and I can say I have made every mistake along the way.
My goal is to have you NOT make those mistakes I did.
To save you all the time, all the guilt, and all the anguish of failed weight loss attempts, and to get you to the point where you can go to high school reunions feeling positive about your body, wearing whatever you want to the beach, and having the energy to do fun things on holiday.
I promise you that we can achieve all this together with Fit Happens VIP.
“Hold on Laura: How Much Will This Cost?”
Ah, the eternal question - what is the price?
I could be a shady marketer, and say it’s not a cost, but an investment, or refuse to tell you the price until we get on the phone, where I try and hard sell you into a super expensive programme.
But that’s so NOT my style.
I value your time and like to be completely clear with you.
The cost for all of this…
Your customised programme.
A diet based around not only what you need to lose weight, but the foods you enjoy too.
Weekly check ins with me where we troubleshoot any issues you have, and keep your track.
Daily accountability and support.
My personal guarantee that I will do everything in my power to get you slimmer, leaner, happier, stronger and sexier.
…Is under £70 per month.
To be exact, it’s £67 per month.
Think about that for a minute.
The average gym membership (at a council gym) costs £50 a month. For just one hour with a personal trainer you're looking at £40.
Add in a couple of classes, or some ‘slimming shakes’ and ‘fat burners’ and you’re looking at £150 (at least).
But this isn’t even close to what you get with Fit Happens VIP coaching.
Think about what you get from a run of the mill personal trainer:
NO nutritional guidance. NO customisation. NO accountability. NO extra support. NO guarantee of results.
And from everything I know from my time in the fitness industry, I would put money on a trainer giving you a boring, generic workout plan that leaves you feeling frustrated, and a dull diet plan of chicken breasts, vegetables and dry crackers.
So if you DON’T want that ^^^
And instead, feel you want better results, more value, extra support, more FUN, and crucially, a body you are proud of, then I can honestly say that applying for Fit Happens VIP coaching will be the best decision ever.
Maybe you’ve guessed this by now, but I am no internet marketer or salesman extraordinaire.
I’m not here to trick or con you into working with me.
All I do is provide you with incredible value, demonstrate how I can help you, and allow you to make a sensible, fully informed decision as to whether this is the correct weight loss method for you or not.
Talking of what I can do for you, here is what you can expect from working with me -
A diet you LOVE, you will honestly be able to eat ANYTHING and still get amazing results
It’s completely flexible, and whether your thing is biscuits, pizza takeaways, meals out or alcohol, I will make sure it’s included in your diet plan.
2. A ‘Lowest Effective Dose’ workout plan There is no need for you to spend hours in the gym… on Fit Happens VIP we focus on QUALITY rather than QUANTITY and will get you the best results from minimal workout time.
3. Up to 6 pounds of weight loss in one week alone
Not everyone will lose this much, and some might lose more.
It depends how much you have to lose.
But what is critical here, is that the weight loss is purely body fat.
4. LASTING Results
How many times can you say you have dieted before?
And how many of those times did the results last?
I can safely say that Fit Happens VIP is the last ‘diet’ you will ever need.
5. On demand coaching
Any coach who says they’ll reply to EVERY client message must be nuts right?
Well then call me crazy.
But I’ll do whatever it takes to get you to your goal.
I don’t want you spending a single minute feeling confusing or worried, so every message gets answered within 24 hours.
6. VISIBLE Results
There’s no shortage of weight loss programmes out there… but few create visible fat loss.
The sort of results that get you compliments from friends and family.
Well, that’s exactly what we shoot for.
Of course the scale goes down, but thats only one aspect of it.
You want to feel pleased with what you see in the mirror too, right?
Well then, we’ve got you covered.
7. A PROVEN System
The MAIN reason why people fail on their diet?
To get round this though we have a private weekly check in, where we can assess your progress in detail.
We stick with what is working, and change what isn’t - so you progress as fast as is physically possible.
8. A Training Programme That Suits YOU
Some of my clients like to train most days.
Others can only manage 30 minutes, 3 times a week.
Some LOVE training outdoors or at home, whilst others prefer the gym.
Whatever suits you, we can work with it.
I want you to enjoy training, and look forward to it, whilst knowing that your sessions are getting you the results you desire.
9. Private Support Group
My clients are all awesome (I wouldn’t work with them otherwise).
So I love for you to get to know them all, and become part of the community.
You can do that in our completely private Facebook group.
If Facebook’s not your thing though, thats ok :)
But the group is a great place to chat about training, make friends and get some extra support and encouragement.
